This artwork is a mixed-media piece composed of strings, wires, and canvas, exploring the complex philosophical relationship between humans and machines. The robots are depicted with strong geometric lines and a glossy texture, seemingly symbolizing their cold and mechanical state of existence. The ropes and wires connect the robots to the strings held by the viewer's hand, blurring the lines of power between humans and machines. My hand appears to be controlling these robots, but the strings may also represent the machines' constraints and counter-control over me. This dual relationship prompts viewers to deeply contemplate the question: "Who is controlling whom?" The “puppet on strings imagery” evokes the dependence on technology in modern society, questioning whether humans are gradually becoming robots controlled by machines.
